The Men’s Rites of Passage (MROP) program is a four-night/five-day deeply prayerful and soulful experience that builds on the classic patterns of male initiation through moving rituals and teachings. Each day includes group prayer, major teachings on central themes in masculine spirituality, quiet time for reflection, and sharing in the context of a small group.

Acceptance into a Men’s Rites of Passage is based on the readiness of the applicant for a life transition. While images and rituals are used from other religious traditions, particularly Native Aboriginal, this 5-day MROP ceremonial event is rooted in the Judeo-Christian heritage. However, this is not an ordinary men’s retreat.

The Rites of Passage are most appropriate for those who are spiritually searching, who have already done some kind of men’s internal work, and who are not in a major negative reaction against God, grace, or transformation.
